want a monthly service plan and
payment, or who cannot qualify

pay for their service and available
minutes in advance of using them.
Prepaid phone service is also

Prepaid phones are ideal because you only pay for minutes used. Why
rack up a monthly phone bill just to be able to use a phone in an emergency? Doesn’t make sense, does it?

With the newest models of prepaid phones, it is virtually impossible for the average person to tell whether someone is using a prepaid phone or a regular cell phone with a monthly billing plan. One characteristic of a prepaid phone that consumers should be aware of is that it cannot be tracked as to location in the same way that a regular cell phone can be. Emerging technology may enable the location tracking of prepaid phones before too long.
